History
	Ferrell’s Air Conditioning * Heating * Insulation, LLC opened in Kentucky in January 1980 in the East end of Shelby County, Kentucky. Kenneth E. Ferrell moved from Shelby County, Tennessee to Shelby County, Kentucky with his wife, Martha Jensen Ferrell, and their daughter, Magen Ferrell. They had two other daughters after moving to Kentucky, Kerri and Lindsey, who have all graduated from EKU. Kenneth was with his father and brothers at Herb Ferrell & Sons in Memphis Tenn. Kenneth’s wife, Martha Jensen, is from Shelby County, Kentucky. She and Kenneth met while on Spring Break in Daytona Beach, Florida. They now reside at Peytona Beach in Shelby County, KY. After purchasing the Former Henry Clay School building in Clayvillage, KY, Kenneth renovated the old school and turned it into an office building which houses the business office, along with several other businesses. The office still has an original chalk board that was used when the school was being used as a Grade School. Ferrell’s now employs 6 personnel: 2 Full time Service Techs and 3 Full time Installer, Sheet Metal Technicians, and 1 Full Time Office Personnel.

Meet Our Team
	Owner Kenneth E. Ferrell - Master# 00993 Graduate of Memphis Area Vocational School of HVAC in 1972. Employed with Herb Ferrell & Sons until 1989, when he moved from Shelby County, Tennessee to Shelby County, Kentucky.

	Customer Support Specialist / Office Manager Ghedra Dunn Ghedra has been with Ferrell’s since June 19, 1989. She was born & raised in Eastern Kentucky (Wolfe Co). She moved to Shelby County in 1980 and graduated from Shelby County High School in 1981. Ghedra works in the office performing secretarial duties, scheduling & dispatching, ordering parts & supplies, filing, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, orders, and other duties as assigned. Even though you can’t see through the phone, know that there is always a smile on the other end.

	Installation Technician Jerry K. Peyton - Apprentice HVAC Installation Technician Jerry Peyton was born and raised in Shelby County, Kentucky, and has been with Ferrell’s since February 4, 2000. He works in the install field, maintaining high standards for the duct work installed in our customer’s homes, and works to help maintain a comfort level for their heating and air conditioning needs.

	Installation Technician David W. Shouse - Apprentice HVAC Installation Technician David was born and raised in Shelby County, Kentucky, in the Waddy area and has been with Ferrell’s since June 6, 1996. He works with the Install Crew, knows what it takes to do the job right and is as regular as the sunrise.

	Installation / Sheet Metal Technician James L. Cox - "Butch" - Journeyman Butch was born and raised in the Henry County, Kentucky, area and has been with Ferrel'ls since June 9, 2006. He works with the Install Crew and is also our Sheet Metal Technician. Butch can make almost anything with sheet metal. He is very precise with his duct work measurements and installation practices. Butch also never meets a stranger. Butch is EPA Certified and holds a trac pipe certification. He is training on becoming NATE Certified.

	Head Service Technician Brad Dunn - Journeyman Brad was born and raised in the Franklin County, Kentucky, area and has been with Ferrell's since July 2005. He is the head technician and takes great pride in the service work that he performs for our customers. Brad can tackle any repair on Carrier or any other brand out there and wins. Brad is EPA Certified and training to be NATE Certified.

	Precision Tune-Up Specialist Chris Raizor - Journeyman Chris was born and raised in Shelby County, Kentucky, and is our Tune-Up Specialist. He takes great pride in performing service and tune-up checks for our customers. Chris is also qualified in New Construction and Retrofits. Chris is EPA Certified and training to be NATE Certified.
