Lockport is an unincorporated community situated in the northern portion of Kentucky. The community is located in Henry County and sits west of the Kentucky River. Lockport has a population of about 237 people. The community was originally a steamboat port near a lock and dam. In 1840, a post office was established in the community and operated until it was discontinued in 1991.
